Standerton Correctional Services did exceptionally well at the second Regional Correctional Services Excellence Awards ceremony for 2010-2011 in which all the Correctional Services departments in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West provinces took part, scooping up four first places in its maiden entry.

This prestige event was held on Friday, 25 November at the Civic Theatre and is also a build-up for the national awards which will be held in February 2012 in Port Elizabeth, in which 15 nominees from Standerton will be participating. GB
