Total Pitstop – First birthday celebrated

Total Pitstop Secunda had its very first birthday bash on Saturday, 26 November.

In celebration of its first successful year in business, the owners pulled out all the stops to make this a fun-filled day for young and old alike.  The children enjoyed fun and games on a waterslide and face painting, while clowns kept an eye on their antics while the parents enjoyed their own bash.

The children could also have their photographs taken with Santa Claus, grab a drink from the Coca-Cola fun truck and jump to their heart’s content on a jumping castle.

Pies were sold at a ridiculously low price to the first 100 customers and there were many prizes, such as a Sony PSP console, a Garmin Nuvi GPS, as well as a month’s supply of mineral water up for grabs as well.

Young and old could show off their culinary skills in a pizza making contest, in which they were judged on their ability to produce a pleasing end result while keeping to the correct way of stacking a pizza. Every contestant was a winner, walking away with sweet hampers as prizes.

The parents who took part in the pizza contest were also judged and some of the winners received hampers, while others received gift vouchers for meals at Café Bonjour or Fish Aways.

Visit Total Pitstop Secunda on the corner of Jan Smuts and Dr Helen Joseph Drive for service par excellence, combined with staff members who are trained to treat every customer like a king.  The number to call is 017 634 1151.  KF
